I can create custom sports posters all day long for other parents and their children. It never occurred to me that I should create one for our own kiddos…until now. I spent the better part of three days experimenting, designing, and redesigning my latest creation. My inspiration was Sadee! We always call her our little princess. Plus she loves fairy princesses. So why not combine the two elements? I did and this is what I created. As you can tell, I used a photo from her tap/dance/gym recital. I hope she likes it.

It’s Show Week at The Little Gym!

Josh is in gymnastics on Wednesday nights.  Daddy, Grandpa Earl, Sadee and Morgan all watched Josh perform his best routines in areas like the beam, uneven bars, and tumbling.  He was the most behaved and enthusiastic student in the large class.  We are so proud of you, Joshua!!

Sadee is in a combo class of tap, ballet, and gymnastics on Friday afternoons.  Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Earl, Uncle Eric, Josh and Morgan came to watch her perform.   She learned all the steps to both dance songs and she was the only girl to do a flip on the high bar.  Way to go, Sadee!!

Josh is starting a new fall semester of gymnastics at The Little Gym.  If enthusiasm counts for most of our reason to enroll Josh in this class again, then we made the right choice.  Josh has mastered the front roll.  Any moves beyond that, well, thank goodness for the mats!

He really loves to go to class.  He also listens to his teachers, which Mommy and Daddy are not sure why he doesn’t use this skill at home!  Check out his latest photos in the gallery.  I love photo 3 when he covers his mouth looking like the teacher just told him the next scary skill they will need to perform.  I also love photo 9 where it illistrates how Josh uses his head in class.

Sadee loves her new fall semester at The Little Gym.  She is taking tap, ballet and gymnastics.  She has not shown a preference for any one part of the class yet.  She really listens to her teachers and tries very hard to learn each new lesson.

Check out the newest photos in the gallery.  How does Sadee look in her hot pink leotard?  I bet you’re not surprised to see her hanging upsidedown from the top bar by herself!  Her daddy and mommy think she is the most graceful and beautiful dancer in the class.

This past Wednesday, Sadee and Joshua joined a summertime gymnastics camp with The Little Gym.

It all started a couple of months ago when Sadee began doing cartwheels and tumbling. Not sure where she learned it, but either way, she was having fun. This continued for weeks. She cartwheeled and tumbled in the living room, at the park, or anywhere there was enough room. Three weeks ago, Michelle and I discussed the possibility of signing Sadee up for a gymnastics class. We kind of made a little error in judgment by telling her early. From then on, she asked us at least 3 to 100 times a day when was she going to “tumbling class”. After a few days of looking into several classes, Michelle spoke with her cousin Jenny. Jenny has one of her daughters signed up in the same type of class with The Little Gym. Next thing I knew, Michelle signed up Sadee for a free one hour introductory class. I stayed home with Morgan and Joshua. A couple of hours later, Sadee and Michelle came back home. Sadee had a BLAST! After 15 minutes of telling me about her class Joshua decided he wanted to sign up too. The following week we had them both in “tumbling class.”
