HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! My dad, with some help from tio (uncle) Frank, planned and carried out a well orchestrated surprise birthday party. Dad and Frank reserved the banquet room at their favorite Friday night hangout spot…Mamasitas Restaurant. All our family was there, sitting in the dark waiting for mom to arrive. SURPRISE! The look on her face said it all. Technically it was tia (aunt) DeDe’s birthday this night, but we celebrated both. Tia DeDe was in on the whole thing as well.
