Sadee scores a goal!

It’s amazing how quick Joshua and Sadee are developing their soccer skills. They are lucky to have a great soccer coach to teach them. Thank you Coach Marcos! On this day, Sadee scored her first goal of the season and she did it in style. The ball was kicked across mid field. Sadee picked up the pass, dribbled it about 20 feet, and scored a goal. You would think she would be very excited. While everybody else was jumping, screaming, and cheering for her she just turned around and smiled. Good sport! The first photo below is her jump kick scoring the goal. Gooooooooooooo Tigers!

A Sleeping Boy and His Dog

One night we were up late watching movies with the kids and Josh couldn’t stay awake. He found his a warm spot on our dog, Maggie, and both seemed content with the sleeping arrangements. Don’t you just love them when they’re sleeping? It’s so quiet!;)

That’s so sweet! Doggies make the best pillows!

Klein Soccer Club – Tiger’s 1st Game

Joshua and Sadee played their first soccer game last Saturday. The weather was perfect, sunny with a cool breeze. The 6U teams play 3 on 3. Their fields are half size and there are two side by side. When the blue team arrived, the coaches decided to split up the kids to play two games so there was less time waiting on the sidelines. They don’t keep score at this level. (The league starts at 4U and play co-ed up to 6U.)

Mommy and Daddy are very proud of our MVPs. They were good sports through the whole game and followed Coach Marcos’ instructions. Can you believe how big they look in those uniforms? Mommy thinks they are adorable, too!

Top news of the game… Josh scored a goal! We all had a blast. Sonny’s mom, Momo to our kids, also came out to cheer them on. Go Tiger’s!!

Birthday Bingo

February 4 was Michelle’s birthday and she wanted to spend it with her family playing bingo on Thursday night. My mom’s birthday is February 5 and she loves to play bingo, too. What better way to spend time with the two most important ladies in my life! We had a blast!! The Lodge at 15th & Beall in the Heights does Bingo every Thursday. Five bucks gets you twelve games. The food is cheap, it’s non-smoking, and the crowds are young. That is a great combination for a good time.

Most of these photos were taken by our new sister-in-law, Sandra. Some how she “borrowed” Michelle’s camera and was secretly taking pictures, including a few self portraits.:)

Best Bingo night ever. In Bingo World that would be called, “One Good Bingo.”

Aww what happened to the funny grampa popcorn teeth one?

Tough Guy and an Angel

PIMP: My brother-in-law, Eric, works for Continental. While at work, he found an unclaimed little girl’s bath robe. Eric thought Sadee would like it. He brought it home, washed it and gave it to her. For Christmas Sadee received a princess robe, so she told her brother he could have the leopard one. No big deal, right? Sadee had one and Josh was excited to have a bath robe, too. Ahem. Now introducing the coolest cat on the block… Joshua “Don Juan” Cantu! All he is missing is a feathered hat, gold tooth and a cane. His birthday is in four months. HINT HINT!:)

ANGEL: Last night I was working on some photography orders in my office. While I was uploading photos, I was also watching Ice Age 3. Towards the end of the movie guess who happens to stroll in, pull up a chair, and sit next to her daddy. Yes, Little Mo. I loved how one desk lamp lit her face then faded to black all around. Luckily my camera was sitting next to me and, without her noticing, I fired off a bunch of shots.

That is hilarious!!! I almost choked from laughing so hard when those first photos popped up! (Josh doesn’t do tough well, though. LOL)
Morgan, on the other hand, is beautiful! That is the face of an angel.

Heather Nix - January 13, 2010 - 10:25 am

That is fantastic! Sonny, your photo work amazes me!

Uncle E - January 13, 2010 - 4:27 pm

First, let’s make it very clear that I didn’t steal that leopard rob out of some body’s bag (after the recent news story about those Continental contractors stealing). It was never claimed, & most likely heading for the trash until I saved it. Secondly, I’m glad to see that one of the twins loves it; I just wasn’t expecting it to be Joshua. Finally, Lil Mo truely is a little angel. Except when she doesn’t get her way. LOL.

Leopard robes have never looked sooo cool! :)
