Our 1st Day of Kindergarten!!

It’s hard to believe that just five years ago we began here, the NICU of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands. Fast forward to today and the twins are starting a new journey, Kindergarten at Greenwood Forest Elementary. They have waited for this day for 2 years. Michelle would drive past the school while...

Five years old and going to school! WOW!

Everyday is a delight when I’m with Josh and Sadee. Lets see, memories abound; here are a few you may remember.

Sadee and Josh like to climb on my back and ride around the house like a cowboy and a cowgirl exploring the open range, whooping it up and laughing so hard they would fall off. We loved every minute.

How about that first trip to Disneyland; Wow, did we have fun! And the GoKart rides in Orlando; we laughed and waved at each other as we sped around the muti-level tracks.

There is so much more to tell. I probably shouldn’t mention how Sadee like to climb on my shoulders and pull my hair out one at a time. I didn’t have that many to loose either and she laughed so hard while she was doing it too! What a little stinker. Josh on the other hand would show me how to use his computer building and coloring Thomas the Train (over and over and over again).

Huges and kisses to you both with all my love,
Grandpa Earl.

WOW! Where has time gone???? We too remember the time they were just sweet little Angels in the NICU. That seems like just yesterday! Now, they are “mini Adults”! Glad they had a great first day! You have so much to be proud of!
We will be doing this next year with Haylie. However, I can’t say there won’t be a river of tears! Love ya’ll!

Do Moms and Dads ever win a fight with their kids?

You know how you feel so very broken-hearted after arguing with your kids?  It doesn’t matter if you win the fight and your kid deserves a punishment for getting into trouble.  You still don’t feel like a winner.  Parents have to hide most of those sad feelings while trying to get their kids under control,...

Happy Halloween!

Our kids love Halloween!  Josh was, and still is, Thomas the Tank Engine.  Sadee was, and still is, a butterfly princess.  I say “still is” because they continue to put on the costumes to play trick or treat.  I bet that will last until Christmas.  And we finally chose a costume for Morgan, the traditional...

Josh’s Gym Class

Josh is starting a new fall semester of gymnastics at The Little Gym.  If enthusiasm counts for most of our reason to enroll Josh in this class again, then we made the right choice.  Josh has mastered the front roll.  Any moves beyond that, well, thank goodness for the mats! He really loves to go...
