Klein Soccer Club – Tiger’s 1st Game

Joshua and Sadee played their first soccer game last Saturday. The weather was perfect, sunny with a cool breeze. The 6U teams play 3 on 3. Their fields are half size and there are two side by side. When the blue team arrived, the coaches decided to split up the kids to play two games so there was less time waiting on the sidelines. They don’t keep score at this level. (The league starts at 4U and play co-ed up to 6U.)

Mommy and Daddy are very proud of our MVPs. They were good sports through the whole game and followed Coach Marcos’ instructions. Can you believe how big they look in those uniforms? Mommy thinks they are adorable, too!

Top news of the game… Josh scored a goal! We all had a blast. Sonny’s mom, Momo to our kids, also came out to cheer them on. Go Tiger’s!!

Dawn Loomis - I love the action shots! And Sadee looks super cute with that big ponytail and bow!

Little Pimps and Angels

PIMP: My brother-in-law, Eric, works for Continental. While at work, he found an unclaimed little girl’s bath robe. Eric thought Sadee would like it. He brought it home, washed it and gave it to her. For Christmas Sadee received a princess robe, so she told her brother he could have the leopard one. No big deal, right? Sadee had one and Josh was excited to have a bath robe, too. Ahem. Now introducing the coolest cat on the block… Joshua “Don Juan” Cantu! All he is missing is a feathered hat, gold tooth and a cane. His birthday is in four months. HINT HINT! :)

ANGEL: Last night I was working on some photography orders in my office. While I was uploading photos, I was also watching Ice Age 3. Towards the end of the movie guess who happens to stroll in, pull up a chair, and sit next to her daddy. Yes, Little Mo. I loved how one desk lamp lit her face then faded to black all around. Luckily my camera was sitting next to me and, without her noticing, I fired off a bunch of shots.

Michelle - That is hilarious!!! I almost choked from laughing so hard when those first photos popped up! (Josh doesn’t do tough well, though. LOL)
Morgan, on the other hand, is beautiful! That is the face of an angel.

Heather Nix - That is fantastic! Sonny, your photo work amazes me!

Uncle E - First, let’s make it very clear that I didn’t steal that leopard rob out of some body’s bag (after the recent news story about those Continental contractors stealing). It was never claimed, & most likely heading for the trash until I saved it. Secondly, I’m glad to see that one of the twins loves it; I just wasn’t expecting it to be Joshua. Finally, Lil Mo truely is a little angel. Except when she doesn’t get her way. LOL.

Jana Cherry - Leopard robes have never looked sooo cool! :)

Ginger Bread Houses

Joshua and Sadee made ginger bread houses for a winter project at school. It was a bit messy, but a lot of fun! The twins were looking forward to this for weeks and asked every morning if it was the day I come to their school to make ginger bread houses. Daddy, little sister Morgan, and my parents, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Earl, came to help construct a new ginger bread neighborhood. Please let us know if you are interested in viewing the listings and a walk-thru of their lovely homes.

We saw a wide range of artistic skill. The milk cartons start out glued to the plate and then the kids add the frosting and decorations. I think they are very creative. Checker pretzels make good windows, lollipops make mailboxes, and Chex cereals make fences. M&Ms were popular with most of the kids, both in architectural design and snack time! (Yes, the parents sneaked a few treats, too!)
