We signed the twins up for swim lessons this summer.  Starting June 9th through July 2nd, the twins jumped out of the minivan at the Greenwood Forest clubhouse parking lot and headed straight for the pool 3 times per week.  After 4 weeks of hot, mostly windy days, Josh and Sadee learned how to swim like the big kids on swim team.

I know Sadee will be back next year to swim with the Breakers team, but will Josh?  He improved so much this past month.  They both did!  They practiced breathing, kicking (not just wild splashing) and big circle arms.  Josh was not even putting his own head under water until about 5 days before classes began.  Now he loves to dive and jump in as much as Sadee.  Well, maybe no one loves to dive more than Sadee!  She calls herself a mermaid and should have been born under the water sign instead of Morgan.

Speaking of, our 2nd Princess made big progress this summer, too.  She went in the big pool floaty free for the first time.  She enjoyed walking and bouncing around up to her chin.  I think she looks adorable in that bright stripes swimsuit in or out of the water!

This will be another experience to remember.  Enjoy the kids’ big smiles.
